Now known as the Exchange Museum, this 18th century building now one of the oldest buildings in Barbados.It was first a school called Harrison Free School and then turned into the Masonic Lodge. The multistory Exchange Museum features permanent displays chronicling the history, trade and banking of Bridgetown, as well as the history of free masonry. Free masonry was introduced to Barbados in 1740 by Alexander Irvine. Another must see is the Bridgetown screw dock which is believed to be the only existing one in the world with its original parts still intact.
