Choose between the morning or afternoon tour departure and walk through the hills in the north of Florence, then visit of the gardens of Villa Gamberaia. Soak up the atmosphere of Settignano and its surroundings, which have inspired many artists such as Michelangelo, Boccaccio, d’Annunzio and Mark Twain.
After approximately 2,5 hours of walking, stop for a visit of the gardens of Villa Gamberaia, an historic villa, built in the early 1600s and noted for its magnificent gardens overlooking the Arno valley. If you wish, after the guided visit of the gardens, you can decide to stay there and enjoy some time on your own.
The tour consists in a 9km walk through the hills, your guide will walk slowly as the purpose of the tour is the enjoy the views and experience the peaceful sensations that only the Tuscan countryside can give you.
The walk has a medium to easy difficulty. You need to be able to walk 9 km with some climb. and remember to put good walking shoes on!
