Witness breath taking views and learn about William Wallace at the Wallace Monument before you make your way to the oldest working distillery in Scotland, Glenturret. Before reaching the distillery you will stop for photos at Gleneagles Hotel Estate and then you will learn about how they make Scotland’s favorite drink. Your journey will include lots of beautiful scenery enjoyed from a comfortable coach. As your tour leaves Glasgow you will head north-east to Stirling for your first stop at the Wallace Monument (own expense). The tribute to William Wallace allows visitors to learn about the facts behind the legend and appreciate the impact that this man had on Scottish history. If you reach the top of the monument you can bask in some wonderful views of Stirlingshire before you return to the coach.

The coach will being its trip into the Highlands where you will make a quick stop at Gleneagles Hotel Estate, which hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup and is home to 3 golf courses. There will be time for photos here, then the coach departs and makes its way through the forests of Perthshire to reach Glenturret distillery.

At Glenturret distillery you can enjoy the Famous Grouse Experience (own expense), which is Scotland’s oldest operating whisky distillery. You will be able to take a tour (own expense) where you will learn how the nation’s favorite drink is made before having the opportunity to try a couple for yourself. When your tour has ended you will have time for lunch at the Glenturret Café (own expense) and have time to a wander around the grounds before returning to the coach.

You will now pass through Strathyre and pass by Loch Earn before reaching Kilmahog where you will have the chance to meet some Highland Cattle before heading into the Trossachs. Known for being the ‘Highlands in Miniature’ due to its mixture of lochs, mountains and forests, you will traverse this stunning terrain before having a brief stop at the village of Aberfoyle. Once you return to the coach your tour will return to Glasgow where your 8 hour tour ends.
