Visit the Georgian Grade II listed farmhouse furnished to a Victorian period. It is as though the occupants have just stepped out.The Village Church Farm boasts period buildings which include a Georgian Grade II listed farmhouse, rare Mud and Stud thatched cottage with its own cottage gardens and a variety of traditional fruit trees. Boothby Barn is the home to 'Bob' a rare Richard Hornsby T1300 steam traction engine paired with his own thresher. They are unique in that they are the only matched pair on display in any British Museum. The Village Church Farm's Collection includes a comprehensive and rare display of agricultural machinery which tells the story of a bygone way of life. Included in the tour is a talk and display on Lincolnshire's WW1 history and displays of WWII memorabilia in the courtyard Exhibition. This venue is family friendly. Visit the Lincolnshire Buff chickens and the little harvest mice. A warm welcome awaits at the end of the tour with light lunch in the Havenhouse Tea Room.
