The off-road ride through Lao Chai and Ta Van villages will offer you the opportunity to experience the daily life of the Black H’mong and Giay, the two of five ethnic minority groups in Sapa.Your tour will commence with a transfer uphill to Heaven Gate (Tram Ton Pass), the highest pass of Vietnam, from where you can have a breathtaking view over the Binh Lu valley. You will then get on your bike and start pedaling into the Sapa valley, observing the fantastic scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields along the way. After leaving Sapa town behind for a while, you'll make a turn and follow a dirt road to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. From Lao Chai the ride will continue off road to Ta Van, a village inhabited by the Giay tribe. Take a break at the village and have lunch in a local house. With new energy, you'll continue your ride along the valley and reach Topas Ecolodge in the mid afternoon. Topas Ecolodge is built atop of the coined hills, provides amazing view over the towering peaks and the valleys dotted with minority villages. After visiting the lodge, you will get on your vehicle for the journey back to Sapa.
