You'll meet in central Bra square and then you'll be off. You will see the Liston, Gran Guardia palace, Town Hall and Arena, and the Roman amphitheater which dates to the 1st century A.D. From there, you will proceed to Castelvecchio, a stronghold and princely residence highly desired by Cangrande II della Scala in 1354. At the summit of the bridge, your tour will stop to take some fantastic photos.
Walking on the Roman Postumia road, you'll reach Borsari Gate and then follow the Decumanus Maximus to the Forum, the center of the old city, now called Erbe square. Nowadays the square is a live diurnal market and the center of nightlife.
You'll enter Signori square, the location of the main Communal residences and Della Scala palaces. Stop to admire the Arche Scaligere, a monumental funeral complex in the Gothic style of the most important Veronese noble family.
Continue on to the marvelous St. Anastasia basilica, a Gothic masterpiece and the biggest church in the city. You'll back track to see Juliet’s house and to admire the very famous balcony where, according to the legend, Juliet leaned out talking to her Romeo. You can leave a message or take a picture in front of the statue.
