Your cultural practitioner will open with a chant, to rejoice and express gratitude for the start of a new day, followed by another chant to announce our presence and preparation to enter the ocean. Then, your practitioner will instruct you to enter the ocean only when your mind, body and spirit are ready. Your time in the ocean is a personal experience. Length of time is not a concern nor is it clocked or documented.
This traditional practice ends with a gathering of everyone to give thanks to the ocean, for the new day, and the essence of wellness.
