Listen to the storyteller bring to life the legends of the famed Night Marchers. Hear the stories of Kamehameha’s great conquest of O'ahu which began with his fleet of canoes landing on the beaches of Waikīkī. Learn about the gathering of large armies of warriors by Kamehameha to attempt the invasion of Kaua'i. Kamehameha failed not once, but twice to complete his quest of Kaua'i. As the evening approaches, learn of the ancient heiau (sacred site) situated on Diamond Head. Visualize the approximate paths the Night Marchers have taken on their futile journey time after time for hundreds of years.
