Located just 25 miles (40 km) north of Cairns and 15.5 miles (25 km) south of Port Douglas, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is a great place to see crocodiles and Australian wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. Walk along the 1.3 miles (2.1 km) of timber boardwalks and pathways, through woodlands and rainforest to see an array of tropical birds, reptiles, insects and other native fauna.
Start your adventure with a boat cruise exploring the Melaleuca wetlands, home to the estuarine (saltwater) crocodile. Then, explore the different zones of the park at your leisure. There are entertaining and educational wildlife presentations to enjoy each day. (See below for show and feeding times.)
Watch the notorious ‘head shake’ and ‘death roll’ at the Crocodile Attack Show, see some of the world’s most venomous snakes, and help feed the koala’s and cassowaries. You'll even have the opportunity to have your photo taken with a crocodile!
