Half-Day Tongariro River Kayaking Adventure

Experience one of New Zealand’s best inflatable kayaking adventures! This white water kayaking trip is a blast from start to finish. Learn the skills, maneuver your craft, crash and surf the waves, while enjoying the pristine Tongariro River. All on river apparel and expert guidance is included to keep you warm and safe. So come and join us for a fun time!The tour will begin at our premises at 2pm in summer, or 12pm in winter. From there we will make our way to the river. Allow at least 3.5 hours for the whole tour, with approximately 2 hours of fun on the river itself.

Kayak through many fun Grade 2-3 Rapids. Learn the skills, maneuver your craft, crash and surf the waves, while enjoying the pristine Tongariro River. Put your worries aside as there will be guidance there to keep you safe and sound. All necessary equipment will also be available for use.

After the river fun has completed, you will be able to enjoy a hot shower and complimentary beer and River Dog (hot dog) while looking at photos from the trip.

This tour is for those with a little bit of experience looking to step it up a notch!
