Despite being only 20 minutes from the Old Town, you will feel like you’re in a wilderness far away from the big city. Enjoy half-day walk in a small group of two to eight people.Prague is known for its fine architecture and scenery and is nicknamed “the city of a hundred spires”. However, it is less known that Prague is a very green city too, abounding with many superb natural spots within its boundaries.
The Wild Šarka Natural Reserve (pronounced as sha:rka) is one of the most beautiful holiday regions of Prague. Such a piece of wilderness right in the city would be the envy of almost every European capital. You will feel like you‘re on a trip to the wild hundreds and hundreds of kilometers from a big city. You‘ll find high cliffs, wild 'mountain' streams, beautiful green fields and amazing views of a canyon and the city.
Your local guide will meet you in front of the riding statue at the top of Wenceslas square. From here, you will travel by public transport to the tour's starting point which is located right at the edge of the Natural Reserve. The ride from the city center takes about 25 minutes.
