Enjoy this 4-hour private scooter tour, which will show you Saigon past and present, old and new, big and small, rich and poor.
Once you are picked-up from your hotel at suggested time (you can choose the time as this tour is private). Your guide on scooter will guide you through some of Saigon’s most iconic sights The Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Halls, Ben Thanh Market or Independence Palace.
You will get a chance to listen to your guide tell you stories of war history, including lesser-known facts. You will also be taken to the Bitexco Tower - the tallest skyscraper in Saigon, and you can see the contrast between old and new architectural designs.
Afterwards you will head to Ho Thi Ky flower market, Chinatown (Cholon) and the Binh Tay Market, before heading to the District 8. District 8 is a low land with many small stilt houses located along the canal of the Saigon River. This area is inhabited by very poor people, living in underprivileged conditions.
Right after you will however see the real contrast, by heading off to the District 7 - which is where the richest live in luxury. On the way you will stop for refreshments and reset. You will also pick some fresh fruits from local market and have a light meal.
Later you will be dropped-off at your hotel.
