Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur is the oldest Chinese settlement in Kuala Lumpur. Divided by three parallel streets, Chinatown is well known for street food, daily wears and places of worship. Istana Negara (Gates of The Kings Palace), the official residence of the ruler of Malaysia. Officiated in 2011, this is a good spot for a photograph with the royal guards and mounted guards. National Monument (War Memorial): A wonderful site to commemorate fallen heroes from the First World War, Second World War and the Emergency Period. View the spectacular 15 metre bronzed monument made by Felix de Weldon.

Perdana Botanical Garden which designed by Alfred Vennings, this gardens now serve as the `Green Lung` of the city. Lovely area to drive or walk through to see the Butterfly Farm, Bird Park, Orchid Garden, Hibiscus Garden and many more interesting sites.

Masjid Negara (National Mosque), officiated in1965, this mosque can accommodate fifteen thousand (15,000) worshipers at any one time. Visit to this mosque is determined by the official time of visit by the mosque authority.

Railway Station and Administration Building (Old Railway Station) was built in 1911 by A.B. Hubback, this building is an architectural wonder of its time. This building and its surroundings will surely transport one back in time.

Independence Square(Merdeka Square) where Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Royal Selangor Club and St. Mary's Cathedral makes up the square.

Visit Jadi Batek Gallery (Batik Handicraft centre) to see how a blank piece of cloth is transformed into a masterpiece through the `chanting` process in the hands of a master. Batik is a traditional and official garment of Malaysia. You will also explore the Cocoa Boutique (Chocolate Boutique) where Malaysian chocolate is high quality and comes in many varieties. From chocolate with strawberries, coconut, hazel nut and ginseng, just to name a few.
