The park is home to three of the Big Five animals which includes elephants, buffaloes and a big part of the white rhino population in Zambia. Walking Safaris through the Musi-o-Tunya National Park and surrounding areas are suitable for active and adventures participants. They offer a rare and intimate opportunity to explore and learn about the African bush, its  game and birdlife. You local guide will show you some of the animals such as giraffes, zebras wildebeest, warthogs, primates, antelopes, to mention but a few, as well as the fantastic local flora: teaks, mahoganies and the mopane and marula trees - a real delicacy for the elephants.

During your mid-walk breaks, maybe near the mighty Kasamba Bezi, popularly known as Zambezi River, you'll have the chance to observe close up the lazy hippos and the ibis perched on the trees or along the river banks.
