Get off the beaten track and leave the crowd behind with a true Mumbai experience. Come and enjoy riding around on a back of a scooter, and experience the natural beauty and traditional culture of the city in ways that no one else can offer.Your professional guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Mumbai at your preferred start time. Your tour will begin by visiting the Gateway of India, Mumbai's most famous monument; it was built to welcome King George V and Queen Mary into India. Just around the corner is the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
You will then visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus train station (a UNESCO World Heritage Site); Mumbai University, the British heritage building built in 1857; the Rajabai Clock Towers, called the Big Ben of India; the Oval Cricket Ground, the location where the most beloved sport of India is played; and the Bombay High Court, a beautiful British heritage building.
You will also be seeing Asia’s largest open air laundry “Dhobi Ghat” where clothes are washed in full view of public. Afterwards, you'll move on to see Mahatma Gandhi's residence in Mumbai, “Mani Bhavan”.
You will also be visiting Jain temple, Banganga tank and Kamala Nehru Park (Skyline view of the city & Old woman's shoe), the Hanging Gardens built on top of water tanks near the Tower of Silence (Parsi burial place). You will also be taking a drive around Marine Drive (known as the “Queens Necklace”), many British Heritage Buildings like the Prince of Wales Museum, Maharashtra Police Headquarters, Flora Fountain & Hutatma Chowk, Telegraph Office, India Post Office Building, Kala Ghoda Area, David Sasoon's Library, and the National Gallery of Modern Art.
At the end of your bike tour, you will be dropped back off at your hotel in Mumbai.
