Half-Day Knysna Village Cycle Tour

Meet your guides at the Lofts Boutique Hotel overlooking Knysna Lagoon, arguably The Garden Route’s most beautiful lagoon estuary. Cycling at a leisurely pace, we make our way by the vibrant shops & cafes of the Waterfront, taking in the gentle roll of the yachts in the harbour before heading out to the famous Knysna Heads along the banks of the LagoonCycle through the Waterfront with its many art galleries and eateries. After a short stop we continue and ride along the banks of the Lagoon to the Heads where we can look down on the narrow stretch of water that has been the nemesis of many ships in the past. On the ride back we will go via Frost Brothers Classic Cars and Mitchells Brewery for a must taste of our of a local flavours, before finishing off at Cruise Café for a tasting of our local and fresh Oysters, paired with a refreshing glass of bubbly, wine or cold drink. After our Cruise Café stop, we ferry ourselves and our bicycles across to the Featherbed Nature Reserve where we will ride through the reserve and on to Brenton on Sea. The ride back from Brenton follows the crest of the Dunes between the ocean and the lagoon providing spectacular views of both.
The historic village of Belvidere nestled on the banks of the lagoon is well worth seeing before meandering along the banks of the Lagoon back to Knysna to end a perfect morning or afternoon of activity, sightseeing and culinary delights.
