Half-Day Guided Cycle Tour in Connemara from Cong

A beautiful cycle tour, mostly off road lasting approximately 3.5 hours. This is Ireland up close and personal. A magnificent way to spend a day in the old world! Our tour starts in the picturesque village of Cong and goes immediately off road into forest trails. We visit caves and old castles and skirt along the beautiful shores of Lough Corrib. We take a break for 45 minutes or so with various places to have a coffee, lunch or whatever you fancy. The village has all the amenities you need including an ATM. From our break we take small country roads and head toward the magnificent Lough Corrib. From there we loop around through gardens and back to the village of Cong. you may if you wish end up with a light meal in Ashford Castle. This has to be booked in advance, is not always available and you pay yourself on the day. Typically, a club sandwich with tea or coffee is €20 (in the drawing room)
