Lunch, unlimited soft drinks and one alcoholic cocktail, beer or spirit are included. A portion of the profits from this cruise helps to benefit Ptea Clara, an organization that houses abandoned and struggling children. After crossing the Chaktomuk (confluence of the Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac rivers) where you can admire the king’s palace, and the very important constructions on Koh Pich island reflecting the rapid development of Phnom Penh, navigate the narrow banks of the Bassac. Quickly give way to the rows of houses on stilts and the peaceful life they represent. After passing the town of Takhmau, you will arrive at the northern tip of the island of Koh Anlong Chen.
Take the widest channel and pass in front of the orphanage that once took care of young Cambodian girl named Clara, who a few years later gave her name to the orphanage, Ptea Clara, established in 2009 to provide homes and medical care to abandoned and struggling children.
A portion of the profits for each booking for this cruise will be donated to help support the Ptea Clara organization.
After arriving at the southern tip of the island, go back to Phnom Penh via the most narrow channel along the shores of Koh Anlong Chen. Here you can admire the vegetable crops and orchards of banana, longan, and also see some fishermen as they cast their nets. We will then head back to Takhmau to return to the port of Phnom Penh.
**Depending on water levels, the cruise may not go to the southern tip of the island.
