This half day tour gives you the chance to admire two unique sights in Romania situated nearby Bucharest: Mogosoaia Palace which reunites Venetian and Ottoman architectural elements in a unique overall style generally known as Brancovenian Style and Snagov Monastery, a monastery build in the 14th century and located in the middle of Snagov Lake that is said to house the tomb of Dracula.Starting from your hotel, you will be picked up by our guide and driver. The first stop on our tour will be the Mogosoaia Palace, situated approx. 10 kilometres from Bucharest. The palace was built between 1698 and 1702, by Constantin Brancoveanu, in a renaissance style, combining Venetian and Ottoman elements. Also known as domain, being formed by the next buildings: the actual Palace, Gheorghe Bibescu Chapel, Ice House, St. Gheorghe’s Church and also the Mogosoaia Greenhouses.
The tour then continues with a stop at Snagov Monastery, an important medieval monument, which is located on an island on the Northern part of Lake Snagov. Among our visiting objects you will find the alleged tomb of Vlad Tepes, also known as Dracula in international literature.
