The objective of the day will be to show you the national monuments at Sintra, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first stop will be at the center of Sintra, where you can enjoy free time to enjoy the traditional pastries at a local tea house and see the Village Palace, an 11th century palace, that has been transformed throughout the centuries and is now one of the most emblematic places of Sintra.
On your way to the Monserrate Palace and Park, you will see the 18th century palace of Seteais and the 19th century Palace of Regaleira. Then, head over to the Pena National Palace, passing by the Moorish Castle. Then head to the Cabo da Roca, the most western point of Europe, where you can get a Certificate of your passage through this point, written in french calligraphy. Next, pass by the beach of Guincho, heading towards the Hell's Mouth, a natural cluster of caves and tunnels in the sea and then the Royal Village of Cascais. From here, you will take the scenic coastal route back to Lisbon.
