Immerse yourself with San Salvador's rich history. The tour starts visiting the Devil's Gate, a unique rock formation visited for spectacular views of the valley. The relief map and El Zapote Barracks and old military school transformed into a museum where your guide will tell you more about the civil war and other important moments in the countries history that took place in San Salvador 25 years ago.

In the city center, you will learn about El Rosario church, designed by the famous architect Ruben Martinez called “The Gaudi of Central America”. You will also see Monseñor Romeros memorial site, an inside visit to the National Palace, Government District, Salvador del Mundo Plaza and Zona Rosa.

Our guide will take you to the Anthropology museum. It has two floors of well-presented exhibits on the Maya and Salvadoran history, arts and economy. Later we visit El Boqueron National Park located on top of San Salvador’s volcano, There be  surrounded by the sound of pines  moving by the wind, enjoy  tropical flora while you walk on a trail to see the crater. On return you will enjoy a great view of San Salvador from the west.
