The presidential house is not too far from the Jogye temple. When you go through the high-security area, you will see a white house with a blue roof. This is the Korean version of the White House called the Cheongwadae which literally means the house with blue top.
The King of the Joseon Dynasty used to stay at the main palace called the Gyeongbok Palace and at its main entrance is Gwanghwamun. There used to be guards who protected the main entrance like the securities in front of the presidential Blue House. If you are wondering if there are still guards at the gate, don’t be surprised! They time-traveled to see you from the Joseon Dynasty. When the guards let you in the palace, it will be your turn to time travel from the future to the past.
