The Crumlin Road Gaol closed its doors as a jail in 1996 and reopened as a tourist attraction in 2013. The Crumlin Gaol housed a number of Northern Ireland's high profile prisoners hand included state executions by hanging, child and women prisoners and some spooky paranormal happenings. The daily guided tour consists of a visit the reception processing building, this is where the prisoners were processed and washed. You will have the opportunity to walk along the infamous tunnel linking the Gaol to the Crumlin Road Courthouse, this is an underground tunnel linking the courthouse and the Gaol, this will be a great photo opportunity!

You will have a stunning view of the Gaols center circle which branches out into 4 wings. A, B, C and D Wing. You will be able to explore the cells where up to four prisoners at a time would have spent their time. Experience the 'Condemned Mans' cell where he would have spent his final days before being executed by hanging.

Your guided tour will finish off in the execution chamber and drop cell.
