  • HIPPODROME AND OBELISKS (XV CENTURY): Byzantine site from 4th century, where you can see the Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius, Obelisk of Constantine and German Fountain.
  • BLUE MOSQUE (1609-1616): Famous Ottoman ornate mosque from 17th century and the second biggest in Turkey, with brilliant Iznik tiles and minarets.
  • HAGIA SOPHIA (m.s. 532-537): One of oldest Greek Orthodox church from the Byzantine era, dating to the 6th century. During the Ottoman Empire it was used as a Mosque and today is a Museum.
  • GRAND COVERED BAZAAR (1461): One of the oldest and biggest bazaars in the country with 4000 shops. Wandering through the bazaar, you can explore different parts of the city.
  • LUNCH: You will have traditional fresh Turkish dishes, in an excellent cozy restaurant
  • TOPKAPI PALACE (1478): Used for over 400 years as the Ottoman residence of the Sultans and his court. Inside you can visit the imperial treasury, sacred relics that belonged to the Prophet Mohammed and his Followers, John the Baptist and the Prophet Musa. See one of the most valuable diamonds which is 86 carats. (Harem section is not included in the program, a separate entrance fee is required).
  • LITTLE HAGIA SOPHIA MOSQUE (527-536): One of the oldest standing churches in Istanbul. It is an early domed basilica. The temple was founded by emperor Justiniano during the golden age of Roman Empire. This church was later converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire since 1497.

  • Mondays - Hagia Sophia closed, will be replaced with Yerebatan Sarnici (The Basilica Cistern)
  • Fridays - Blue Mosque will be replaced with Nuruosmaniye Mosque
  • Tuesdays - Topkapı Palace closed, will be replaced with Chora Museum
  • Sundays - Grand Bazaar closed, will replace with Yerebatan Sarnici (Basilica Cistern)
