This zone is characterized by its peculiar architectonic style: conical stepped underpinnings and circular patios, incorporating a Ball Game and several buildings and terraces.
Learn about it from your guide as you see each important landmark. Not much is known about the site as it was just discovered back in the early 1970’s. This civilization, known as Teuchitlan Tradition, had its peak between the years 200 and 400 AC and disappeared near the 900 AC and it is known that its antiquity is of over 2 thousand years.
Later, you’ll have time to browse the museum at the site where you’ll get to watch a video explaining about the civilization that lived in there, and before going back, there will be time to have lunch in one of the restaurants of the zone (own expense). You’ll have the chance of eating meat, seafood or the traditional frog legs.
You'll then head back to Guadalajara where your tour ends.
