Enjoy a lovely day in hiking on Jinshanling Great Wall to West Simata by a coach service. Jinshanling Great Wall was first built in the sixth century during the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589). Along it are 67 watchtowers, all in different styles, at average intervals of 150 meters. During the Ming Dynasty, General Qi Jiguang improved the structure of the Jinshanling Great Wall by making it higher and denser and by building double walls at strategic sections.
You will be picked up by your tour guide and get on an air-conditioned coach in the early morning (between 6:00am to 7:00am). It takes about 2.5 hours driving on expressway from Beijing to Jinshanling. You will arrive Jinshanling Great Wall around 9am, and then you can spend 3 hours for hiking there.
Your lunch will be served in a local restaurant near by the Wall at 1:00pm. After your lunch meal, you will be transferred back to Beijing, and you should be arrive Beijing around 5:00pm.
