Plitvice lakes are a unique natural phenomenon - 16 picturesque lakes which are connected by a number of cascading waterfalls. Travertine barriers, which were made in a period of about ten thousand years, are one of the fundamental features of the park. The park is a perfect combination of all natural elements.
Before arriving to Plitvice you will have a chance to visit little mesmerizing village Rastoke which is full of little ponds, waterfalls, rapids and all that because of river Slunjcica is entering river Korana over sinter rocks, thus creating this wonderful place also called 'Little Plitvice'.
Departure from Zagreb is at 8 am. Driving towards your first destination Rastoke. Making a small picture/coffee break of 45 min and continuing to Plitvice. On Plitvice your local guide will wait for you to show you and teach you all about the wonders of Plitvice. After the sightseeing tour you will have time on your own for lunch or shop for souvenirs. Getting back to Zagreb in the afternoon.
