Join this small-group tour to discover the Great Wall of China and view the Olympic Stadium on the way back to Beijing. Travel to the less crowded Mutianyu section and climb to the top watchtower for the incredible views of the Great Wall. You can descend the wall by toboggan or by cable car at an additional cost. You'll then enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch in the foot of the hill. On the way back to Beijing, you will also have a chance to view the Olympic Stadium and water cube (outside view only). This small-group tour has a maximum of 8 participants per van, allowing for a personalized Great Wall experience. You'll be picked up from your hotel by air-conditioned minivan to the less crowded Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, located 56 miles (90 kilometers) from Beijing. From the foot of the hill, you can walk at your own pace as you hike the wall to the top watchtowers. You will be immersed in the history and myths told by your tour guide. Along the way, you will have great views and photo opportunities of the Great Wall. You can choose to descend the Great Wall by toboggan or cable car depending on option selected at time of booking.

After you come down from the wall, you’ll have a Chinese traditional lunch at the foot of the hill, with a great view. After lunch, you will return to Beijing city with a chance to view the Olympic Stadium: bird nest and water cube, before returning to your hotel.
