While you’re here, check out the retail store, enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants or explore all the unique things that Granville Island has to offer.You will start the tour with a short introductory lesson on how to paddle your kayak, as well as paddling safety. Then your guide will help you get fitted in your kayak properly and help you launch. Paddle into False Creek, with many breaks to take in the views, take photos and hear stories about the area's history as well as current developments. Places of interest are the Granville Island Market, BC Place, the Olympic Village and Science World. You will return in time to get back in the store at the tour finish time.
