After hotel pickup in the morning, head to the Cayman Islands Yacht Club in West Bay, where you’ll receive your life jacket and snorkel equipment. After a safety briefing and instructions for navigating your Jet Ski, you’ll be off and running!
Your guide will escort your small group on a 25- to 30-minute Jet Ski ride to Stingray City — a large sandbar. Stand in the shallow depths, which reach just 2 to 4 feet (.6 to 1.3 meters), and interact with the graceful southern stingrays as they glide through the turquoise water. You’ll enjoy swimming, touching the stingrays and taking photos of these fascinating aquatic animals.
Then hop back aboard your Jet Ski to your second stop, located only a few minutes away. The barrier reef in Grand Cayman reaches depths of approximately 6 to 10 feet (1.8 to 3 meters) deep. Teeming with a wide variety of corals, it’s a great spot to find colorful fish and other marine life, including a local green eel that occasionally swims out to pose for pictures. Afterward, head back to the dock for your return transfer to your Seven Mile Beach hotel.
