Enjoy a day trip to the majestic Grand Canyon National Park. On this tour, you will journey north from Phoenix through historic Williams and onto the canyon. The Grand Canyon was formed by the mighty Colorado River as it flowed through the canyon, carving deeper and deeper into the layers of time. You'll see the colors and shadows change from moment to moment as you gaze at this breathtaking natural wonder. Once here, you will tour the Visitor's Center and discover the history of the National Park.
You tour guide will take you to Bright Angel Trail, Mathers Point Overview, Desert Viewpoint and Tower, all inside the park. You will also have time to climb the tower for some simply amazing views.
Throughout the park you will see a wide variety of wildlife including elk, bighorn sheep, coyotes and possibly mountain lions, bobcats, badgers and rattlesnakes and the ever present squirrels! Your guide will be with you along the way to give you information about the history and on the flora and fauna you will see.
Each passenger will receive a delicious boxed lunch for your enjoyment while on the rim overlooks or enroute.
