The Gorge Explorer Shuttle was designed for you: the hiker, photographer and explorer.  Spend 1.5 to 5 hours at any one of 8 trails or sites on the route, all selected due to their significance to the explorer in you in this shuttle tour.The Gorge Explorer Shuttle designed for you: the hiker, photographer and explorer.  If you would prefer to avoid the parking and traffic hassles that come with a trip to the Gorge trailheads or if you want to actually spend more time on the Gorge trails or at the Gorge sites, use the Shuttle for your travel explorations. Spend 1.5 to 5 hours at any one of 8 trail heads or sites on the route, all selected due to their significance to the explorer in you.  The Shuttle is non-narrated transportation to the sites and trailheads.  If you desire a narrated tour we offer our popular half day narrated Multnomah Falls & Columbia Gorge Tour which provides visits to some of the same sights.
The Shuttle departs downtown Portland in the morning and stops at Troutdale enroute to the Gorge's favorite sites and trailheads.  It then returns to Troutdale 3 times during the day for additional trips through the Gorge to offer shuttles to other Gorge trail heads on 1.5 to 2 hour intervals.   This enables a rider to do up to 3 separate hikes in one day with service at each trailhead.  The final trip through Gorge each day arrives back at Troutdale at 3:30 pm and Portland at 4:30 pm.
