You will start your 3.5 visit by heading to the Rock, a suberp 412 metres monolithic limestone that rises proudly over the strait of Gibraltar between the European and African continent.
You first stop will be at the Pillars of Hercules, a wonderful sightseing view point named after the legend that Hercules split there the African and European continent by streching a foot on either side. From there, views of Northern Africa towns, the Atlas mountains and the strait can be appreciated. Take your time to also enjoy seing the Atlantic and Mediteranean oceans meet harmoniously.
Board your luxury 9 seaters and continue to St Michael's cave, a beautiful natural cave which stalactites and natural lighting effect are non-pareil. A former war hospital, the cave is used today as a concert hall!
The next stop is the top of the Rock, 400 meters above sea level.While you will enjoy the stunning views on both sides of the Rock, overlooking Spain and Africa, you will meet the Rock biggest pack of Barbary Apes.
Carry on your tour until the Northern part of the Rock and stop at the Great Siege Tunnels, a man made tunnels gallery which house a great number of cannons. From there, you will overlook the Gibraltar Airport runway and the border with Spain.
Its now time for ride for a scenic coastal and tunnel drive around the Rock. You will go to Europa Point to visit the Trinity Lighthouse, the Moorish Mosque and General Sikorski’s Monument and also marvel at a different angle of the Rock. Catalan Bay is your next stop. This beautiful fishing village located on the East coast boasts one of the most beautiful beach of Gibraltar and is a local favourite spot.
Finish your tour with a drive across the airport runway one of the only airport in the world that you can cross on foot and by car. As you cross it, stick your camera out to immortalise this very special moment!
At the end of the tour, choose betzeen being dropped off at the port or in the city centre where you could shop till you drop tax -free.
