Your day begins in Hervey Bay, on the mainland at 9am with pickup from your Hervey Bay accommoation available from 8am. Your expert guide will help you onto the barge then you can sit back and enjoy the 45 minute trip across the magnificent Sandy Straits to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island.
Once on the Island you’ll be behind the wheel of a 4WD and making your way around the exclusive, purpose built training track. You’ll be gaining all sorts of skills to avoid getting into trouble, and also for those times that trouble finds you.
Shake off the sand and enjoy a poolside lunch back at the Kingfisher Resort before heading back out and hitting the tracks on a self-drive journey out into the wilderness that is Fraser Island, armed with some great skills to see you worry less, and smile more. The soft sandy tracks of the world’s largest sand island will lead you through diverse ecosystems and some challenging terrain. Your reward will be spectacular locations inaccessible to the less adventurous.
The return voyage to Hervey Bay is 6pm with complimentary hotel transfers available on arrival back to Hervey Bay.
