Driving along the Lake of Eidsdal the road continues to the idyllic Herdal Summer Farm, where you will find goats, cows and fjord horses. The owners will gladly invite you to taste their delicious homemade goat cheese.On this excursion the bus will take you over the Eagle Road, a spectacular road with 11 hairpin bends. On the steep sides of the road you might spot goats grazing grass. Once you arrive at the last hairpin bend, the bus will stop for a break. You can walk to the platform for a majestic view over a.o. the Geirangerfjord and the waterfall “Seven Sisters”. You will immediately understand why this fjord is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From the Eagle Road the bus will drive along the lake of Eidsdal. A beautiful lake where many fathers like to take their kids to for some trout fishing. After a short photo stop at the lake, the excursion continues to the idyllic Herdal Summer Farm. This farm has been operated for over 300 years. Here you will find goats, cows and fjord horses. The owners of the farm and their staff will gladly tell you all about the farm and invite you to taste their homemade goat cheese.

NB: In order for the excursions to be available for everyone, the time of departure/arrival of each excursion is set to match the itineraries of the cruise ships. In case a time of departure needs to be adjusted, you will be notified in time. All meeting points are within walking distance from the port/pier and most of the hotels.
