Choose the day and time that works best for you and your snorkeling and paddleboard excursion. Arrive 10 minutes prior to your departure time at the launch area in Boca Grande, located at 19 Street E on Gasparilla Island. Meet your ACA Certified Paddleboard Instructor, who is also a Certified Lifeguard and trained in CPR. After introductions, go through a short lesson on paddle strokes, snorkeling, and safety instructions to make sure everyone is ready for a fantastic time on the water. Then, go in the water and begin your 2-hour tour around Gasparilla Island.
As you move through the water, follow your knowledgeable and friendly guide down the Great Calusa Blueway paddling trail. Listen as your guide tells you about the local flora and fauna while watching the water for guest appearances from manatees and bottlenose dolphins. You may also see endangered birds, such as Royal Tern and American Oystercatcher. Get ready to go snorkeling in the crystal clear water when your guide hands out the snorkel, mask, and fins.
