Itinerary
10am - Arrival at the Wildlife Friends Foundation camp. You will be welcomed by the English speaking education and offered tea, coffee or a fruit shake. We will have the opportunity to settle in and get to know each guest before we share the day together.
.
10.30am - Before the tour begins a safety briefing is first given. We then walk the grounds with the rescued animals shown, such as bears, gibbons, macaques, elephants and many more and hear their background stories.
12pm - A Thai buffet lunch will be served and enjoy an hour of leisure where you will also have the possibility as well to have a walk around the center.
1pm - Get ready for some exercise together with the elephants for their daily routine. We feed them with pieces of fruit whilst walking to the lake where you can have a nice bath together with this beautiful giant. The rest of the afternoon you will have the opportunity to meet all of the other elephants, mostly mums with their younger calf’s, at their home base and hear about their individual stories and characters. Observe some of the elephants and have an afternoon swim for a cool down together with the elephants.
Use the opportunity as well to observe the feeding time at New Lands open top enclosures where you will find gibbons, bears and macaques.
3.15pm - Unfortunately everything always comes to an end and it is now time to say goodbye as you are transferred back to your hotel.
