Visit Waitomo famous Glowworm Caves and see glow worms, stalagmites and stalactites. You then have the choice to experience the Agrodome Farm Tour, the Skyline Gondola or relax and enjoy the Polynesian Spa.
In the afternoon the tour group rejoins for the Te Puia Maori Concert to see some of NZs indigenous people's customs, followed by a guided walk with a Maori guide through the neighbouring Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve tour.
We return in to Auckland around 7.30pm

Travel towards the King Country – birthplace of the Maori Monarchy before arriving at the mystical world of Waitomo, home to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves where the local guides explain their history, features and legends of these world famous caves. View different cave formations, stalactites, stalagmites climaxed by drifting silently in a boat through a Glowworm Cavern lit up with thousands of tiny glowworm lights.
Departing Waitomo enjoy a delicious picnic lunch made locally in Waitomo whilst traveling through the heart of the Central North Island to Rotorua where the Geysers, bubbling mud pools and Maori culture await.
Jump right into the day in the life of a Kiwi farmer at the Agrodome on the all-weather, all-terrain vehicles. You’ll get to hand feed the sheep, llamas, deer and maybe the cattle. See a live sheep shearing demonstration and a sheep dog
trial, it’s a real hands on experience enjoyed by all.
OR - replace the Agrodome Farm Tour for a tranquil spa experience relaxing in the shallow alkaline rock pools at Polynesian Spa each with calming lake views. You will be surrounded by revitalising native New Zealand flora, natural rocks and the sound of waterfalls. Rejoin your coach in time for your Maori and Geothermal experience at Te Puia.
OR - replace the Agrodome Farm Tour and instead hop on board the Skyline Gondola that will take you 487 meters above sea level where you will enjoy the 180⁰ panoramic views of Rotorua. Take a walk on one of the nature trails or ride the Luge (extra cost) which has over four kilometres of thrilling and scenic Luge tracks. Rejoin your coach in time for your Maori and Geothermal experience at Te Puia.
Then we all meet for the moving Maori Cultural Performance inside Te Puia Marae (meeting House) whilst surrounded by the carvings of the Maori ancestors you will be treated to the perfect harmonies, the Poi, Haka and Tititorea.
