Head to the calm, shallow waters of Paripueira Beach. Here you’ll discover the Municipal Marine Park and the world’s second largest coral reservation and a manatee preservation area. Famous for its calm, shallow waters, this magnificent location is within the Coral Coast Environmental Preservation Area. It’s also home to the Municipal Marine Park containing the world’s second largest coral reservation and a preservation area for the marine manatee.
Main attractions include tide pools formed between coral-lined reefs, which contain a wealth of flourishing sea life including vibrant tropical fish species that play among swimmers. This is an ideal place for snorkeling (Optional). Also, for an additional fee, you have the option of taking a short boat trip out to the reef pools of Praia de Sonho Verde, depending on the tide.
There are restaurant services on-site as well, with a regional menu and complete tourist facilities (restrooms, phones, etc.).
