Enjoy a great day trip to the town of Villa de Leyva with its charming colonial arquitecture and the largest main square of Colombia.We pick you up at 6am at your hotel and leave Bogotá in direction to Villa de Leyva. The drive takes approximately 4-hour.
Arriving to the village discover the colonial center and its large Main Square paved with cobblestones by foot.
After lunch (not included), visit the surroundings of Villa de Leyva. Depending on your interests and your time, enjoy the silence of the Convent Santo Ecce Homo, constructed in the early 17th century or taste Colombian wine at Karims wineyard. Visit the House of Terracotta, the "Pozos Azules", some artificial pools that because of the minerals in the soil has a very special colour, or enjoy the ostriches farm. Go back in time and visit the Muisca Observatory located in the desert of Villa de Leyva or enjoy time in the museum and discover the prehistoric times of this place studying the fossils.
At 6pm return to the Bogotá. We will leave you at your hotel.
