Full-Day Tour of Encantado and Blue Pool from Lençóis

Discover a magical world with this full-day tour of the Encantado and Blue Pools outside of Lençóis. These natural wonders show off the beauty and majesty of the area, and provide you with some welcome respite from an urban environment. You'll leave shortly after breakfast at around 8:30/9am with Encantado Pool as your first destination. It’s a two-hour drive to the entrance of the cave that harbors the pool. A walk down a steep path of 80 meters (260 feet) will take you down to the aquamarine subterranean pool which is 61 meters (200 feet) deep and has crystal clear water. If you are lucky enough to be here between the months of April and September, the show is only beginning. Between 10:30 and 12:30, depending on the month, a ray of sunlight will penetrate the cave and illuminate the pool for a truly unforgettable experience. With or without sun, it’s a wonderful surprise. (FYI: swimming is not permitted in the Encantado Pool).

After your visit to Encantado Pool, you'll travel to the Blue Pool; this cave/pool is very similar to Encantado, with the ray of sunlight illuminating the pool all afternoon long. However, you will be able to swim in this one. Afterwards, you'll travel back to Lençóis for the evening.
