Your professional team will take you on a diving adventure that you will never forget. The trip starts in the morning with a transfer to Kleinbaai, which is 2km along the coast from the village of Gansbaai. Once onboard, it is a 5 mile voyage to Dyer Island. You will be collected from your accommodation in Cape Town and take a 2.30hr drive to Kleinbaai. Upon arrival you will be given a delicious meal and refreshments (included in the price), an educational and safety briefing, wetsuits, masks and waterproofs.
You will then board the boat and take a 15 minute cruise out to the shark working area near Dyer Island. The chum master will now start the chumming process to attract the sharks to the boat. When the first shark has been spotted, you will be helped into your wetsuit and then lowered into the cage which is tied to the side of the boat at all times. You can then hold onto the handles of the cage and lower yourself into the water so you can see the sharks up close and come up for air whenever you like.
There is food and refreshments and towels on the boat. It is safe to take cameras with you on the boat as you will be given a waterproof compartment under your seat to store your valuables. Please wear under armour warm clothing as it gets very cold on the boat. Please wear a bathing suit as you will need this under your wetsuit when you get lowered into the cage. No scuba or snorkelling experience is necessary.
It is a very safe and fun experience that you will remember forever!
