Highlights of this full day air safari include flying over King George Falls, the spectacular Mitchell Falls, Wyndham Mud Flats, the Berkeley River Gorge, Kalumburu, the stunning Kimberley coastline, lunch at Drysdale River Station and return over El Questro and the Cockburn Range.Your all day tour starts with your complimentary transfer from your accommodation at 8.15am to the air conditioned terminal in Kununurra.
Here you will be checked in and you will receive a complimentary bottle of cold water with lollies before your pilot begins his safety briefing and you depart for your air tour.
At 8.45am you will be taken out to the aircraft for one last safety briefing before taking your seats.
Your air safari begins with views over the Ord Irrigation Area, Carlton Hill Station, Wyndham and the Cambridge Gulf to the coast. The beautiful mud flats at the mouth of the Ord and King Rivers will not disappoint. You will then continue over the Berkeley River Gorge, the famous King George Falls and Kalumburu.
Next, land at a remote air strip where you will have a chance to stretch your legs, have a drink and light snack before boarding your helicopter again. You will then marvel as you orbit the spectacular Mitchell Falls and Mertens Gorge.
At 12.30pm you will land at Drysdale River Station a remote cattle station for your lunch. Sample a famous Kimberley Beef Burger or one of the other delights on the menu.
Your return flight takes in views over El Questro and the Cockburn Ranges.
At approximately 4pm you will land back in Kununurra and will be taken by air conditioned mini bus back to your accommodation.
