Afterwards, visit Thien Hau pagoda and the bustling China Town which is unique to only this city in Vietnam. Every sign board here features two languages, Chinese and Vietnamese which matches the languages spoken in this area. After lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon, head northwest to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the very few remaining monuments of the Vietnam War. Enjoy a tour of a portion of the nearly 125 mile (200 kilometer) network of tunnels all which had been dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflicts. While visiting this historical area, you will encounter several trap doors, specially- constructed living areas, command centers, kitchens and more which were all part of these functioning underground cities.
In the late afternoon when the tour is complete, you will return to Saigon.
