With hotel transfers and lunch included to ensure you have a wonderful and relaxed day!Your day will begin with a pickup from your centrally located hotel. From here, you will be taken to Wat Suthat. Wat Suthat, better known for the towering red Giant Swing that stands at its entrance, is one of the oldest and most impressive temples in Bangkok. It features an elegant chapel with sweeping roof, magnificent wall murals and exquisite hand-carved teakwood door panels.
Next you will visit the Grand Palace. The construction of the Grand Palace began in 1782 during the reign of King Rama I, the founder of Chakri Dynasty, to become a royal residence, and it has been the utmost architectural symbol of Thailand ever since. The Grand Palace served as a significant royal residence until 1925 and is now used for ceremonial purposes.
Next you will visit the famous Wat Pho. The temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including a 46 m long reclining Buddha. The temple was also the earliest centre for public education in Thailand, and still houses a school of Thai medicine. It is known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced at the temple.
Finally, visit Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple. Regarded one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand, thanks to its traditional Thai symmetrical architecture designed by Prince Naris, a son of King Rama IV and one of the greatest architects during his time, and fine marble imported from Italy.
