Spend a day trekking through a native rainforest in New Zealand’s Far North. Let nature heal you and lift your spirits. Allow your friendly and experienced guides to lead you into the wilderness safely. Leave civilization behind for a day and become one with the rainforest.Meet your guide at the rainforest. Listen as your guide gives a briefing about the activities you can do, then agree upon chosen activities for the day.
Let the adventure begin as you trek down the rough stairs and on to the forest track. Allow nature to open up to you.
Enjoy a hike through the rainforest. Listen to the sounds of the flora and fauna surrounding you. A kilometer (0.6 mile) into the walk there will be a camp set up where you can relax and enjoy morning tea and lunch as you soak in the atmosphere.
Spend time enjoying your pre-decided activities. There are plenty you will have to choose from, including trekking over thousand year old ancient trees, bird watching, hunting for native orchids, catching (and releasing) crayfish in the streams, meeting the Eel (a threatened species), or enjoying a bit of everything!
