The Village Museum has four lovely restored historic homes which you can view at your leisure, Schreuderhuis, Blettermanhuis, OM Berghhuis and the beautiful Grosvenor House. A visit to any of these wonderful historical buildings is sure to be a memorable one.
Muratie Wine Estate presents some of the best wines and ports in the country. The farm itself dates back to 1685 when it was granted by Governor Simon van der Stel who was Governor of the Cape of Good Hope at the time. This makes Muratie one of the oldest estates in South Africa and along with that age comes many characters and truly fascinating stories.
Another one of the beautiful Stellenbosch wine estates is Delheim. Delheim boasts an outstanding wine portfolio and recently they have experimented with the wine pairings. Delheim is home to 13 families (excluding the owners). A holistic approach to community and land, to wine making and to enduring good business practices is what sustains Delheim. The aim has always been to nurture a strong culture of sustainable development on the farm and within the community that grows up and works together on the estate.
As many of our guests are not familiar with South Africa, we would like to assure you that your comfort and safety is our first priority. Our experienced guides are always available to assist you in making your stay with us a good one!
