7:30am - Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Patara Elephant Farm.
8:15am - Arrival at the farm. After registration, there will be time to change into the training outfit Patara Elephant Farm provides.
8:30am - The training session starts: First go into the woods for a hike to find the elephants you will get introduced to all of the Patara Elephant Farm elephants. Learn about the elephant farm management and their breeding program. Train to approach and how to get closer to the elephant. Together you will provide the elephants a nice breakfast and their daily health care. See together if the elephant will be pregnant and take care of small baby elephants. Learn how to unchain the elephant and walk together to the river. Learn about the skin care of the elephant and bathe your elephant in the river. Get training on how to get on the neck of the elephant and how to get down by different techniques, the basic riding skills and the spoken commands needed.
10am - Bare-back riding session: Practice during an easy ride within the farm and a short trip to visit the temple. Learn more about the elephant itself, Buddhism and the beliefs of the Thai people related to the elephant.
11am - It is time to set off for a long uphill trip to visit the waterfall for a lunch and refresh in the water together with your elephant.
2pm - It is time to get back on your elephant and to head back to the farm for the evening feeding session.
3pm - Farewell and time to take pictures together with your elephant.
4pm - You will be transferred back to your hotel.
