Then over the course of the afternoon, visit three charming wineries with hands-on attention from your guide, a WSET certified wine-lover, and the vineyard personal and winemakers. Around mid-day, lunch will be provided in the charming colonial town of Niagara-On-The-Lake. Around mid-day, lunch will be provided in the charming colonial town of Niagara-On-The-Lake. After pickup from your accommodation in Toronto between 9am and 10am, journey to Niagara for the day. On your 8-hour tour, you'll visit three wineries, including a small, medium, and large production winery, to give you a good cross-section of the different vineyards in the region. Enjoy a winery tour and tasting at each vineyard with charcuterie or cheese pairing.
Your guide will provide ample information about the climate and geology of the Niagara wine region, trends of wine making, and the wines which you'll taste. Then stop for lunch (included) in Niagara-on-the-lake, one of the oldest towns in the province. You will have time do some light shopping or strolling in this quaint and charming town.
After visiting the final vineyard, return to your accommodation in Toronto around 5pm (traffic can affect the timing).
