Discover the alluring beauty of two of the best sites in Da Nang, the mysterious caves, grottoes and Pagoda that are hidden inside Marble Mountain. You can wander around a museum that houses the world’s most extensive collection of artifacts belonging to the ancient Cham civilization and a trip to the city’s biggest and longest running markets. You will begin your day trip with a visit to Marble Mountain. It is a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains which are named after the five elements and is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Marble Mountain is also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village to the South of the city. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years. From there you will visit Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda which is considered as one of the biggest pagodas in Da Nang not only by scale and architecture, and is located on the hill, with the shape of turtle. This pagoda has a combination between modern style and traditional style. The main area has a large capacity and it is the most solemn place. From here, you can contemplate the whole city, mountain and Son Tra peninsula. You will stop for lunch and then continue to Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture. It is well-known for its extensive collection dating from the seventh to the fifteenth century. Recognized as a national first-class relic by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the museum is regarded as an architectural gem of Southeast Asia. More than 300 sandstone and terracotta artifacts are now on display. The sculptures were collected from Cham temples and towers throughout central Viet Nam. Although profoundly influenced by the architecture and sculpture of the Indian civilization, the Champa had their own vision of life and religion. This brought to their sculpture a subtle and distinct beauty. The Con Market was constructed in the 1940s, was rebuilt in 1985 and renamed the Da Nang Trade Center. It is one of the city’s major markets and is still known locally as the Con Market. It welcomes an average of more than 11,000 customers every day. It is now home to more than 2,000 choices and selections of goods can be found here. Before ending the tour, we will have a chance to visit Con Market to buy specialities of Da Nang as well as the central region of Viet Nam at a reasonable price.
